Game Recap

The Tigers picked up their first win of the season in a thrilling double overtime victory over North Polk last Friday night at T.T. Cranny.

Palmer Schulte ran 29 times for 160 yards and 1 touchdown.

Trent Miller had a huge game with 9 total tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 interception, and a blocked kick in addition to two goal line carries for touchdowns in the 4th quarter and 2nd overtime respectively.

“These kids just don’t have any quit in them” commented Coach Aaron Shipley. “I am so proud of their effort and attitude throughout the game, they showed they have what it takes to make plays and win games.”

The Tigers are 1-0 in Class 3A District 6, and head to Bondurant Farrar next week to take on the 0-3 Bluejays.
