The Tiger girls basketball team picked up a conference road win Tuesday by defeating Pella Christian 75-36. The win improves the Tigers record to 6-3 overall and 4-0 in the LHC.
Sophomore Meredith McKnight led the way with 17 points (4- 3 pointers) and 6 rebounds. Freshman Haidyn Hull followed with 12 points (4- 3 pointers) and 4 steals. Sophomore Ivey Schmidt had 10 points, 5 assists and 3 steals. Junior Keelie Eitel was next with 7 points and 3 boards. Senior Sarah Gosselink finished with 6 points, 5 steals , 3 board and 3 assists. 3 girls (McKenna McKnight, Leah Harris and Katelyn Van Compernolle) each had 5 points. Junior Megan Mauss and sophomore Sydney Miller both hit a 3 pointer to finish with 3 points. Rounding out the scoring was senior Kylee Neighbors with 2 points.
Next up for the Tigers is another conference road game at Indianola. JV starts at 4:45 and Varsity follows at 6:15.
