The Tiger JV volleyball team went 2-3 at the East Marshall Tournament with wins over Belle Plaine and East Marshall.

We lost our first match of the day against Roland Story 2-0 (21-23, 17-21). For offense, Leah Harris lead the team with 4 kills and Gretta Dodd had 3. Both Harris and Dodd had a 100% serving average for this match as well. Ashlyn Imhoff and ValiJo Hauersperger also had a 100% serving average. Harris was also the defensive team leader with a 2.13 serve receive average on a 3 point scale and 10 successful digs.

Our second match of the day was against Gladbrook-Reinbeck. We lost this match 2-0 (17-21, 15-21). Team leaders in serve recieve in this match were Leah Harris with a score of 2.4, Gretta Dodd with a score of 2.38, and Kylie Cline with a score of 2.0 on a 3 point scale. Liberty Grife, Leah Harris, Ashlyn Imhoff, Gretta Dodd, and ValiJo Hauersperger all served 100% in this match. Imhoff and Dodd were also team leaders in attacks with 3 kills each. Makaylin Sellers and Kylie Cline had 2 kills each. Cline had 6 assists in the match.

We won against Belle Plaine 2-0 (21-19, 21-12). In this match, Harris and Cline were leaders in serve receive score a 2.0 on a 3 point scale. Laynie VanNevel-Clark was team leader with 100% and Ashlyn Imhoff had 5 aces. On offense, Liberty Grife, Leah Harris, Laynie VanNevel-Clark, and Gretta Dodd had 3 kills each and Kylie Cline had 9 assists. Dodd and VanNevel-Clark had 1 block assist.

Our fourth match of the day was against West Marshall. We lost 2-0 (11-21, 15-21). In this match, Kylie Cline was our team leader in serving with a 100% average and 2 aces. Also serving 100% in this match were Grife, Harris, VanNevel-Clark, and Imhoff. Leading the team in serve receive were Grife, Sellers, and Hauersperger each score 2.0 on a 3.0 scale. For digs, Harris had 7, Imhoff had 6, and both VanNevel-Clark and Dodd had 5. Offensive team leaders were Liberty Grife with 3 kills and Ashlynn Imhoff and Nicolle Donnelly with 2 each. Kyle Cline had 6 assists and Gretta Dod and Nicolle Donnelly had 1 block assist.

We won our final match of the day 2-0 (21-12, 21-13) versus East Marshall. Offensive team leaders for this match were Dodd, Harris, and Cline with 3 kills each and Imhoff has 2 kills. Dodd was also team leader in serves with 5 aces. Also leading in serving were Grife, Harris, and Hauersperger with a 100% average.
